Field Project Coordinator - Nacogdoches

  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
  • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
  • Assist in supervising current projects and coordinating all team members to keep workflow on track.
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
 
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
  • Strong working knowledge of HCSS Construction Software.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are normally Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 
 
Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment as well as in field offices and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.  May require work on site location when necessary where employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, rough and uneven surfaces, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
