Diesel Technician - Big Sandy

Essential Functions
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments.
  • Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
  • Follow all company procedures for documentation of work performed. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow in the repair shop.
 Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a heavy-duty shop environment
  • ASE certification is a +
  • CDL certification is a +
  • Self-starter with an exceptional work ethic. 
  • Possess own tools
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position working 40-60 hours per week and weekends when needed.
 
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, use hands for repetitive tasks, and have good vision abilities.
 
Work Environment
The work environment may include exposure to moving equipment, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate noise levels typical of an automotive repair shop.
