Pressure Washer Technician
Essential Duties
Operate pressure washer machinery to clean surfaces
Check equipment to make sure it is working properly and has adequate water supply
Use degreasers or removal chemical as label recommends when requested by supervision
Inspect the surface area after washing to ensure it is clear of dirt and debris
Clear the job site and store all hoses and equipment correctly
Keep tools and equipment in good repair
Follow all safety policies and PPE use
Attendance required according to company attendance policy to ensure crew can operate at normal proficiency level
Required Skills and Experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of industry experience with high-pressure equipment preferred
Competencies
Excellent communication skills
Ability to display professionalism, maintain quality focus, and pay attention to detail.
Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety
Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are normally Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Some equipment can be extremely heavy and will require a lot of strength to move or manipulate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, rough and uneven surfaces, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
